Founded in 1991, The George Lucas Educational Foundation creates and distributes content across multiple media platforms, including Edutopia.org, Edutopia magazine, Edutopia video, and Edutopia e-newsletters. Through Edutopia's network of media, we tell stories of success, provide access to tools and best practices, and maintain a global platform for support and collaboration.

Over the years, Edutopia has grown in audience and reputation, especially since the 2004 launch of Edutopia magazine as a fresh new voice for innovation and the redesign of learning environments for students in grades K-12.
